Web Plus: Google Insights for Search – See what the world is searching for
Ever wondered what people are searching on Google, then Google Insights for Search is your solution. It’s a great tool to analyze what people are looking for on Google.
First of all it looks so simple (obviously it is from Google) but surprised me with its features. Mainly it allows you to find out what are the top search terms by country while you can filter them by web, images, news and products. You can specify a category for the search terms as well, plus it is possible to define a time period too. For an example you can get the top search for worldwide image search in sports for year 2008 which gives you ronaldo in number one position.
My favourite feature of Google Insights is the ability to compare more than one search terms at once. Simply put your search terms separated by a comma to view the trend chart, regional interest for mentioned search terms as well as other relative search terms.
You can access the Google Insights for Search by clicking on following link. http://www.google.com/insights/search/#
I found Google Insights for Search very interesting and very useful to get an idea of what people are searching for. Feel free to comment on this article.
